BIO

Jiban Biswas is a Kolkata based freelance artist. He was born in 1982 in the district of Birbhum, West Bengal, India. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the prestigious Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata. Having been grown up and spent his childhood amidst nature, Jiban’s paintings are a vivid portrayal of various forms of life, most of which are represented by the cow. Jiban has participated in various group and solo shows in India and abroad. He has received multiple scholarships and awards for his work.
