BIO

SATHEESH KANNA PARAMASIVAM was born and brought up in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. In 1996, with the help of his brother Shanmugasundaram, He joined in College of Fine Arts, Kumbakonam and completed his Masters in Fine Arts in 2003, Chennai. All his paintings start from fundamentals such as Dot, Line, Geometrical Forms, Regular and Irregular Forms. With the help of those fundamental forms, He is trying to incorporate his internal & external visions with India’s most well-known spiritual and colorful place “Banaras” [Varanasi]. For that, he need a canvas and colors to express himself as an artist, in a professional way. These basics are the birthplace for his “Banaras” series Paintings.Apart from this, his inner likes and dislikes play a major role in his output. This will allow him to enter energetically into the new world. It will reflect and evoke his inner feelings into space. This state of mind helps him to do a painting and to realize himself as well. Most of the time, he prefer to touch some abstract forms from his innermost senses, which the exterior logical world doesn’t allow, all the time. In such moments he never feel bad, just he enjoy the temperament and express them in the form of Art. So, whatever he see and feel he paint, as long as he can. It allows him to concentrate on one process, which also can be said as meditation.
